📚 Required Reading for Serious Singers
I encourage you to get a copy of Andrew Byrne’s book “The Singing Athlete.” This book is an eye opener when it comes to diving deeper into the different factors such as neurological connection, physical tension release and vocal stumbling blocks of why warm-ups are only half the battle.
Singers often know more about singing than we take the time to explore. This book offers deeper insight into some of the things you may already know while introducing new ideas to consider.
Jennifer explains that vocal success depends on managing psychological, emotional and technical factors in addition to technique. She also discusses how to overcome stage anxiety.
“The Art of Singing on Stage and in the Studio” by Jennifer Hamady is a great addition to any singer’s library.
